Reviews for this machine are positive or negative; there are only a few average ratings for this printer. It takes a moderate amount of tweaking to assemble and use the machine properly, so it’s not a good model for beginners. You should have some experience with 3D printers before buying the FLSUN Delta Printer Kit.
The one-star reviews of this printer state it has problems including a melted fan assembly, a burnt-out motherboard, and an effector that won’t work.
If you have little to no experience assembling a 3D printer, we suggest using another model. Any user with previous 3D printing experience may find the Delta to be an inexpensive way to make figurines, pencil holders, and other small items.
Buying a 3D printer is a relatively new phenomenon. It’s made the news a lot, but 3D printing isn’t as big (yet) like computers, cell phones or video game consoles when they were first introduced.
Unless you have an aptitude for assembling small machines and a lot of patience, we recommended buying a small, inexpensive 3D printer. Learn how to use a small unit before buying a bigger, pricier printer, even if the manufacturer of the large printer claims it is “easy-to-use.”
